Hair extensions can add instant volume, layers, dimension and length to your hair. Although they can be pricey, many people are willing to spend the money to get some extra locks in their 'do. Natural human hair extensions do not pose too many problems. They can be color treated, styled and washed just like your natural hair. Synthetic hair extensions, however, cannot be treated just like your natural hair. Because of this, the synthetic hair can get matted and tangled easily (kind of like your Barbie's hair used to).
